Just back from hosting a conference in Newcastle on sustainability procurement. Made me think how environmentally friendly voice-overs are with their home studios.. so much less travel and our "product" delivered at the touch of a button, free of packaging!
BUT, I'm sure there are many more actions that can be taken to further improve eliminating waste..
I'll let you know!

World leaders discuss RISK!
For the second year running, I provide the voice to the opening video to be played at The St. Gallen Symposium. This year's theme is RISK. I feel very honoured!
The St. Gallen Symposium aims to foster the intergenerational and intercultural dialogue between the Leaders of Today and the Leaders of Tomorrow. The 42nd symposium under the topic “Facing Risk” will take place from 3–4 May 2012 at the University of St. Gallen.

In Celebration
Very excited to be selected as the on stage performer for the new season of IN CELEBRATION events in the Orangery at Greenwich Fan Museum, Monday 6 February 2012. I'll be reading the poetry of Raleigh, Marlowe and Shakespeare, with legendary counter tenor James Bowman and celebrated lute player Dorothy Linell performing the music of John Dowland.

Thanks for the nice comments (you know who you are!) from viewers to national BBC2 who have heard me live on air as a freelance announcer. For the past 6 years, I have provided freelance cover for Channel 4 and More 4 so it's great to be working with different but equally interesting people. I love working from the home studio but there's nothing better than being in a live, broadcast environment. Finishing at 1am though.. that's a different story!
Making the 9/11 Memorial
An interesting account of the construction of the 9/11 Memorial which includes the largest manmade waterfalls in the US.. Try to watch if you can. 2200 on History Channel tonight, so a clash with Shark Men! I hope the narration properly supports a very reflective programme..
